It’s been just under a week since I traded in my eniro first edition for the 3rd edition model. The car’s performance is equal to it’s predecessor though the updates obviously gives it the edge.

The sales advisor, Mr Barnett, displayed a good knowledge of the car with a pleasant and helpful manner. Collection of the car was, (for me), both speedy and painless as he completed all the paperwork, registering the car’s sale, tax status and 24 hour drive away insurance, even phoning me 48 hours after to check I was satisfied with it’s performance.

They are great at providing a full and comprehensive customer service, let's face it no company in the world never made a mistake but not all companies are as excellent as Underwood's Kia are at putting any little problems right and making certain everything is as it should be before the happy customer departs, Have had some pretty atrocious experiences over the years with various car sales and servicing companies who when not quite delivering just what I expected from them just shrugged and let me drive away totally disheartened by their lack of any effort at all to correct problems with my vehicle, have to say Underwood's went that "extra mile" to make sure that I left after having some work done on my Kia totally satisfied that my vehicle was even better than I hoped it would be. Won't be going anywhere else for a new Kia or to get work done when needed on my current one.

We have now owned this Sportage since 2017 when purchased new from Underwoods Colchester. In 60 years of driving and owning vehicles whilst not the most expensive it is to date the best vehicle by far.

I have had back problems since the age of 19 and this is the first car I have driven/owned that does not give me back pain when on any journeys either short or long holiday trips to Europe.

Only real criticism is the passenger seat is FAR too low and my wife has to have a booster cushion which is not ideal, I understand on newer models this has been rectified, it is shame KIA have not responded to our previous complaints and updated the seat for us?

However this so far is our only complaint with an excellent vehicle and a company providing very good after sales service.

It wasn’t completely plain sailing though as they were slow in paying off the finance on our part exchange and needed reminding five days later. Connor, again was more than happy to chase it up for me. But with the next payment due on said part ex I chased the dealership again the next day to confirm it had been done. This is when I spoke to Paul salmon. Maybe I caught him at a bad time but he seemed to take particular offence to my enquiry. Seemingly not understanding my concern telling me he’s “sure admin had already paid it off as they’re very quick”. I let him carry on for a minute then informed him Connor had in fact already confirmed admin hadn’t paid it off the day before. Just a note to keep your customers extremely happy - when carrying out the pre-delivery checks - as this car is to be used in England - can the navigation settings be set to Miles instead of Kilometres, and likewise with the Speedo settings. Me and wife was made very welcome from when we when in to leaving a young man was a gentleman he showed us around all the cars and explained prices and gadgets even got to sit in them we got a kia car and love it but when we update are next car we are going eco electric and petrol they have a bigger boot to put wheelchair in its really nice.
