Pleasing experience with Underwoods Tiptree. The first pleasing experience of Underwoods Tiptree was the early morning response to reserving a vehicle online late the night before.
An early phone call, followed by another later to arrange a test drive, and at every stage from then on the feeling that someone was taking care of you, not just about selling a car, but of making sure you were comfortable with the whole process, important to me as it had been several years since I had bought a car and things inevitably change over the years.
Lots of paperwork which was carefully explained kept the details simple but clear.
Never felt pushed. Always felt at ease.
Test drive around Tiptree with Ashley, and a chance to use and play with the modern technology that most cars now have.
So I bought one. Underwoods took care of the Road Tax, I took care of the Insurance. They gave me half a tank of petrol to boot.

They replaced a rattling timing chain on my 2019 Picanto (42k miles). I had asked them to check it as I thought it was noisy. They confirmed it was. It was in 7 year warranty so they made the warranty claim and it cost me nothing. No argument or bickering, they just did it. Out of warranty would have been around £1k. A proficient repair. They provided me with a loan car for the duration (4 days). Easy guys to work with and very responsive to emails - which is important to me as I spend most of my time out of the UK. Nice job!

Delivered my car to you for M.O.T. and Service, on 31st December, was greeted with a smile from Reception and asked if I would like a hot drink which I accepted while I waited for my car. A short while later Reception came over to tell me they had problem with a pipe that needed replacing and the rear brake pads were very dangerous. I agreed for them to order the parts to which I was given a loan car to get me home. I was informed that I was covered on Insurance until my car was ready. I was kept informed on the progress and had a phone call Thursday morning to say it was ready to pick up. When I arrived I was explained what was done in detail and was very pleased.
