Your vehicles suspension is set of components that work to maintain a comfortable ride for you and your passengers. There are two components to your suspension system; the coil spring and a shock absorber. Overtime these absorbers can break or more commonly leak over a duration of time.

What can go wrong with my suspension?

You may identify one or more of the following symptoms that suggest an issue with your suspension;

Change in the ride – You may notice a change in how your vehicle feels, perhaps the ride is suddenly harder or bumpier.

Change of handling – Some symptoms of poor stability include; vehicle wandering, pronounced dip when braking, or the vehicle isn’t handling quite how it did previously.

Shocks are oily – If you look through the wheel arch you will be able to see if there is any oily liquid on or leaking from the shock absorbers. If you see this probably best to call Underwoods.

Uneven Tyre wear – If the suspension is sitting the vehicle on the road evenly you will notice uneven wear on the tyres, most likely identified as a balding patches.
