Underwoods Motoring are your local Ford Approved Authorised Repairer and specialist.

Unlike other garages, we have been accredited by Ford to best care for your vehicle and are able to provide fully Warranty support. Our technicians have been trained by Ford to provide expert repairs, using the latest tools and Ford diagnostic equipment. We only use Ford approved parts to ensure full compatibility and to prolong the life of your vehicle. All Ford labour and parts come with a two year warranty.

We are also fully accredited by the Motability Scheme and can therefore provide full Warranty repair support, as well as annual Servicing, for your Ford Motability vehicle.

During your visit our Technicians will check Ford's database for any outstanding software updates or recalls we can action whilst you are with us. We will also update the digital service history of your vehicle for future reference.

Every Ford that comes to Underwoods receives a comprehensive Visual Health Check and we will advise you of any work we recommend.

We are Ford Authorised at our location in Clacton and Tiptree, providing full Ford Warranty support. Make yourself comfortable

Waiting for your Ford to be repaired can sometimes be a little time consuming.

Should you choose to wait we make each of our locations as comfortable as possible. There is always a comfortable place to sit, with free WiFi provided and a choice of refreshing hot drinks including Tea, Coffee (made from fresh beans), Latte, Cappuccino and delicious Hot Chocolate.

As much as we enjoy your company, we will try to make your stay as short as possible.

^Major Service only for vehicles over 3 years old and under two litre engine size. Major Service including Spark Plugs (for vehicles 4 and 8 years old) £370.

Motability for Ford drivers

Many of you will have purchased your new Motability Ford from Underwoods in the past. As we have continued to hold Ford ​Authorised Repairer status, we can support all Warranty repairs on your Motability Ford ​vehicle as well as the annual Servicing and eventual MOT test. It doesn't matter where the vehicle came from originally or who the Main Dealer were, your local Underwoods Ford ​garage can help.

We will ensure all parts, oils and lubricants are Ford ​approved and the work carried out by our trained professionals. Just book as normal with Underwoods and we will be delighted to see you. All our sites have wheelchair accessibility and we will provided refreshments while you wait.

Supporting Your Ford​ Warranty

During the first 3 years of your vehicles life, your Ford​ Warranty should be kept in tact by ensuring work is carried out by an approved company such as Underwoods.
