Transferred to your nearest location

All our cars (and vans) can be easily moved to your closest Underwoods dealership for your convenience. Simply make your enquiry and we will organise the transfer as soon as possible to fit in with your availability to visit.

Seeing images and videos online is one thing and even knowing the model well either from personal experience or through a friends car, but you really need to see the car up close personal, take a seat, and a drive.

We have locations in Clacton in Essex, Sudbury in Suffolk and Tiptree in Essex close to the A12.

Test Drives

We cannot emphasis enough how important we believe test driving your potential new car (or van) is and we will encourage you to do so. Just like a new pair of shoes or jacket, you have to ensure you get the right feel and fit for you.

We will need to accompany you on the drive, but we are there simply to answer your questions and are quite happy to take a back seat, leave you to concentrate and enjoy the view. If you need a longer drive no problem, just let us know.

All we need is for you to bring is your driving licence.

Vehicle Preparation

Before being presented for sale every vehicle goes through a rigorous preparation process.

The interior and exterior will have been fully prepared to high a standard by our trained vehicle detailers. 

No vehicles knowingly leaves our forecourt with a scrape, scratch or dent. If needed Wheels are refurbished to a high standard, including diamond cut alloys. Many online used car retailers will market and sell their vehicles presenting all of the vehicles defects. You may have a car that seems a bargain, but it comes at a price, and that price is imperfection. The interior will be thoroughly valeted, but we offer an additional SupaGard interior and exterior paint protection system is available upon request.

Using our in-house team of trained Garage Technicians every Underwoods vehicle receives a 112 point safety check and thorough mechanical testing. We have no interest in selling vehicles and see them again shortly after with an issue. The next time we hope to see our customers is for an annual Service or MOT, or their next vehicle purchase.

All vehicles receive a full history and mileage check and are HPI clear for your peace of mind.

Our Price Promise

Our simple promise to you is to provide you the customer with the right car at the right price. We carefully analyse marketing pricing to ensure our vehicles are advertised at a fair price for their age, mileage and condition.

Prices can vary wildly between two vehicles which seem to be the same. But if a car is sold with imperfections it will be cheaper. Sorry, but we don’t do that, we only sell the best quality carefully selected used vehicles.
