Bodyshop MET Technician

Our Bodyshop is currently looking for an experienced MET Technician to join our team at our Sudbury Accident Repair Centre. We are a professional bodyshop providing a full range of accident repair services for all makes and model of vehicle.

As a MET Technician your job role will include;

• ensuring the repair of motor vehicles of all types is carried out to motor manufacturer industry standards or repair methods.
• carrying out such work in an efficient, safe and economical manner, ensuring the integral quality of the vehicle and its safety is maintained.
• acting upon knowledge and skills as may be required to restore vehicles to an industry recognised acceptable standard.
• ensuring that non-productive time is kept to a minimum.

The applicant will be undertaking body repair work on all makes and models of vehicles. Therefore the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with an eye for detail and enjoy completing work to the highest quality and standards. They will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills.

You will need to demonstrate a pride in your work and ensure you have an understanding of customer expectations. You will have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing and able to work as part of a team. Being a good team player is essential in this role, you must be able to communicate to a very high level to ensure the smooth flow of work through the Bodyshop.

A driving licence is essential in this role.

Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00.
