Bodyshop Panel Beater Trainee

Our Bodyshop is currently searching for an enthusiastic individual looking for career progression and on-the-job training as a panel beater / MET technician.

This individual will be looking to expand their knowledge and experience by working alongside bodyshop professionals in a busy working environment. Training will be provided by fully trained bodywork specialists willing to share their wealth of knowledge and experience.

Applicants leaving College or experienced persons are welcome.

Your job role and training will include;

• ensuring the repair of motor vehicles of all types is carried out to motor manufacturer industry standards or repair methods.
• carrying out such work in an efficient, safe and economical manner, ensuring the integral quality of the vehicle and its safety is maintained.
• restoring vehicles to an industry recognised acceptable standard.
• ensuring that non-productive time is kept to a minimum.

The applicant will be undertaking body repair work on all makes and models of vehicles. The ideal candidate will be hard working, have an eye for detail and enjoy completing work to the highest quality and standards. They will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills.

You will need to demonstrate a pride in your work and ensure you have an understanding of customer expectations. You will have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing and able to work as part of a team and learn on the job. Being a good team player is essential in this role, you must be able to communicate to a very high level to ensure the smooth flow of work through the Bodyshop.

A driving licence is essential in this role.

Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00.
