Vauxhall Takata Airbag Recall

Vauxhall have announced a major recall regarding Takata airbags in various Vauxhall models.

If this airbag recall affects your vehicle, you will receive a recall notice letter directly from Vauxhall. Please follow the process for booking your appointment provided by Vauxhall carefully.

If you choose Underwoods to proceed with the work by following Vauxhall's process, we will be in contact with you as soon as we receive the request. Please do not call Underwoods direct, as we are unable to process this rework until we have received official notification from Vauxhall.

Please note: this is a safety recall and not a "do not drive" notice.

This recall work will be carried out free of charge at Underwoods. The process of changing the airbag is quite simple and should not take more than 30 minutes. All appointments are while you wait only, but we will of course try not to keep you any longer than necessary and have you on your way, driving safely and reassured. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a Courtesy Vehicle or our Collection and Delivery service for this work.
