Service Advisor - Clacton

Underwoods Motoring in Clacton are looking for a Service Advisor to join their professional team at our Authorised Repair Centre.

Underwoods offers a great opportunity to join a successful independent dealer group with a loyal and growing customer demographic, representing some of the world’s most established vehicle brands including; Vauxhall, Ford, Skoda and Kia.

The ideal candidate will be an articulate and motivated individual who can maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, providing a smooth vehicle repair experience whilst offering professional advice. The position requires an applicant who is willing to work as part of a team, supporting other aftersales departments.

Duties include:

• Greeting and processing customers
• Updating customers of repair progress
• Advising customers of additional work required
• Making new appointments
• Responding to online enquiries
• Raising job cards
• Organising courtesy vehicles and collections
• Invoice all work carried out

Previous experience in an automotive Service department desired but not essential. Additional experience with either Warranty or Parts departments beneficial. Good communication and IT skills are essential.

The successful applicant must have an excellent attitude and take pride in their work providing high levels of customer service, in line with the levels of excellence expected at Underwoods Motoring.

Hours are 8:00-18:00 Monday to Friday only, no weekends. Profit share scheme plus opportunity to earn additional commission from up-selling certain product lines.
